From long road trips to International travel…planning a get-a-way is fun, but can be stressful and add up quickly. Below are some tips for using your smartphone and T-Mobile to save some money this summer.
Hotel stays – HotelTonight.com offers incredible last-minute and lowest price deals, which I love for road trips. If you plan to drive, check out the GasBuddy.com app which will tell you exactly where the least expensive gas is near you and where the best gas deals are when out of town.
Airport tips: Loungebuddy.com finds lounges in the airport and lists entry requirements (ie.. certain credit card, points, etc). Sometimes a $25 fee will get you into any lounge while you wait for your connection.
Avoid overage or roaming charges with free International UNLIMITED data, talk and text on certain plans (which start at just $40 per line). The Mobile Without Borders plan is perfect for unlimited talk, text or calling to Canada and Mexico.
Don’t forget to look for special deals like T-Mobile Tuesdays which offer deals on everything from gas to food every Tuesday.
